From 5f86c969e8f4f5a43fe8b9c4c7f364ce480ba54d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jonas Rembser Date: Fri, 30 Oct 2026 23:20:04 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] Revert "[tutorials] Disable JIT-heavy fit tutorials on Windows 32 bit [ROOT-patch]" I suspect the tutorial was only JIT-heavy because in the original cppjit version in ROOT, it didn't cache some of the wrapper code that can be generated. This situation was improved by the recent improvements in cppjit. This reverts commit 4e1572c94ff737443f1a39ff991f14030cf3c18e. --- tutorials/CMakeLists.txt | 9 --------- 1 file changed, 9 deletions(-) diff --git a/tutorials/CMakeLists.txt b/tutorials/CMakeLists.txt index d473084fa83ce..267dcffbaf106 100644 --- a/tutorials/CMakeLists.txt +++ b/tutorials/CMakeLists.txt @@ -499,15 +499,6 @@ if(MSVC) list(APPEND extra_veto legacy/hist040_TH2Poly_europe.C) # needs to download from the web endif() -if(MSVC AND CMAKE_SIZEOF_VOID_P EQUAL 4 AND NOT win_broken_tests) - # These fits JIT-compile their formulas through cling on top of an already - # large Python + ROOT process and exhaust the 32-bit address space - # ("LLVM ERROR: out of memory", "Buffer allocation failed"). - list(APPEND extra_veto - math/fit/fitConvolution.py - math/fit/fitNormSum.py) -endif() - if(MSVC AND NOT llvm13_broken_tests) list(APPEND extra_veto math/exampleFunction.py
