InfiArtt: Infinity Art and Technology

Free your limits, unleash your creativity.

InfiArtt is an online community of blind and visually impaired people from across Indonesia, founded on 20 April 2020. It is a place where freedom of expression meets technological innovation: we learn, share and create together, without being held back by distance, time or physical ability.

The name says what we stand for: Infinity, without limits; Art, authentic creative work; and Technology, the things that make life better for everyone.

What we do

  • Open education: guides, documentation and learning resources that anyone can use, from the basics to advanced topics, online and offline. See our knowledge base.
  • Community collaboration: a space to discuss, solve problems together, share ideas and find people to work with.
  • Real innovation: turning ideas into working software and creative projects, built accessible from the start.

Our work is grounded in Indonesia's Law No. 8 of 2016 on Persons with Disabilities and Law No. 19 of 2011, which ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: the right to accessible information and technology should exist in practice, not only on paper.

Projects on GitHub

  • Accessify Play: an NVDA add-on that puts Spotify at your keyboard on any device: playback, your library and playlists, podcasts, audiobooks and synced lyrics.
  • Hariku: a minimalist, keyboard-driven personal organizer and accessible calendar for screen reader users. Developers can extend it with the Hariku SDK.
  • TeamTalkBot: an automated admin companion for TeamTalk 5 servers.

More free, screen-reader-friendly tools for Windows, such as EZ Convert, ProxyFly and CapsLock Sound Notifier, are available on our software page.
