What

Adds plugins/scrapingbee-cli/plugin.json in the Agent Plugins v1.0.0 format (same name, version, description, keywords and links as the Claude manifest, no skills list because Copilot discovers skills/ on its own). Lists the new file in the CONTRIBUTING versioning list, the plugin README and the changelog.

Why

The awesome-copilot marketplace intake for our plugin (github/awesome-copilot#5309) failed its install smoke test and version check: Copilot CLI only reads plugin.json at the plugin root, .plugin/plugin.json or .github/plugin/plugin.json, not .claude-plugin/plugin.json. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Grok keep reading their own manifests and ignore this file.

Verification

  • Manifest checked against the rules in awesome-copilot's eng/external-plugin-quality-gates.mjs (schema URL, name pattern, author fields, keywords) and valid JSON.
  • Their skill lint already passed on the current SHA; the remaining two gates need the new SHA, so after merge the issue's commit SHA gets updated and /rerun-intake is posted.
  • scripts/sync-skills.sh --check clean.

Copilot CLI and the awesome-copilot marketplace look for plugin.json at the
plugin root (Agent Plugins v1.0.0) and do not read .claude-plugin/plugin.json,
so the awesome-copilot intake failed its install and version checks.
