I’m a Soil Health Data Analyst in the Maaz Lab at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resilience.
My work connects soil science, microbiome bioinformatics, and research data workflows. I help turn laboratory measurements, sequencing data, and sample metadata into analyses that researchers can inspect and use.
- 16S and ITS amplicon processing with QIIME2
- Soil-health data integration, quality checks, and sample provenance
- R and Python workflows for statistical analysis and FTIR-based soil-property prediction
- Analytical tools and research workflow documentation
Soil-health amplicon processing: dataset-specific research workflows covering manifest checks, primer trimming, DADA2, batch merging, taxonomy, and exported 16S/ITS outputs.
I’m developing AI-assisted research workflows, emphasizing reproducibility, traceable changes, and human review of scientific decisions.
