fix(tokens): list coins from pump.fun's current boards and search - #23
Every tokens command failed: pump.fun removed the frontend API routes they read (/coins/recommended, /coins/top-runners), and the listings that remain no longer carry bonding-curve reserves.
Fix: trending, new and graduating read pump.fun's movers, new and graduating boards; recommended reads its recommendations (at most 10); search uses its server-side search, which also finds older coins.
Fix: rows are narrowed to pump.fun coins on Solana, since the boards also carry other launchpads and EVM chains, and returned as one record naming the quote asset.
Fix: with an RPC endpoint set, price (in the coin's quote asset) and bonding progress are read from the bonding curves. Without one, the listing still works and shows market cap.
Fix: an API failure is reported as an error instead of a traceback.
Fix: info no longer crashes on the original 49-byte bonding curve; buying or selling one, which has no creator, is refused.
The mainnet e2e script picks its test coins from the new record.
Breaking:tokens --json returns the compact record (mint, name, symbol, quote_mint, quote_symbol, usd_market_cap, complete, flags, and price / bonding_progress with an RPC) instead of the raw API row.
Verification: unit tests mock each endpoint, including paging past the first board page and API failures. Every command was run against the live API, with and without an RPC endpoint, and the two-page boards return no duplicates.
Summary
Token discovery now uses pump.fun’s current boards and server-side search. Results are filtered to pump.fun coins on Solana and returned as compact records. With RPC configured, the CLI adds price and bonding progress from curve data. Without RPC, listings retain market-cap data.
tokens --json now returns the compact record instead of the raw API row. recommended defaults to 10 results. API failures produce an error instead of a traceback.
Protocol and transaction impact
The PR changes the bonding-curve parser used by info, token enrichment, and trade code. It accepts legacy 49-byte curves with no creator field and represents the creator as None.
This PR touches code paths that send Solana transactions: buy_token and sell_token in src/pumpfun_cli/core/trade.py. Both reject a curve with no creator before building or sending trade instructions. The CLI calls these functions for bonding-curve trades. The parser and added guard affect trade behavior, but the supplied changes show no change to wallet handling or transaction construction for other curves.
Token enrichment reads chain data for display and does not send transactions. The supplied evidence does not establish an architectural layer violation.
Tests and validation
The supplied summary reports unit tests for endpoint behavior, pagination, API errors, enrichment, and legacy curves. It also reports live API checks with and without RPC. Test execution results were not supplied.

Walkthrough
Token discovery now uses dedicated pump.fun board and search endpoints, filters results to Solana pump.fun coins, and supports optional RPC-based curve enrichment. The curve parser accepts legacy accounts without creator and optional flags. Buy and sell reject curves without a creator.

Summary
Fetch and normalize token listings src/pumpfun_cli/core/tokens.py, tests/test_core/test_tokens.py, README.md
Listings use dedicated board, recommendation, and search endpoints. Results are filtered to Solana pump.fun coins. API errors and pagination are tested.
When RPC is configured, commands can add curve price and progress data. Tables display quote prices and USD market caps. The mainnet test script selects active and graduated mints from listing results.

CLI->>API: Fetch and filter token listings
API-->>CLI: Return normalized token data
CLI->>RPC: Read curve data when RPC is configured

Token listings now use pump.fun's current endpoints. In rare failure cases, such as an unexpected API response or an RPC outage during price enrichment, the CLI can show a traceback instead of a clean error or a fallback listing. The README endpoint table also renders incorrectly, and the mainnet test script skips one PumpSwap buy loop. None of these block normal use, so the change is mergeable with small follow-up fixes.

A non-JSON or unexpectedly shaped API response now raises the listing error, a
row whose mint or quote asset is not a pubkey is skipped, pump.fun's own error
message is kept, and an RPC failure during enrichment falls back to the API
listing without echoing the endpoint. The README note sits below the endpoints
table, and the e2e PumpSwap candidates use the new record.
