Summary

Works through the 134 agent submit_feedback reports from Oct 19-23. Every claim was checked against the live docs, the hosted MCP server, or source code (rphttp2, RunPod, main-ui, public-ep, worker-vllm, host, runpodctl) before changing a page.

Merge after runpod/runpod-mcp#153 deploys. /agent-setup and /get-started/mcp-servers now say Cursor's OAuth callbacks are accepted, which is only true once that change is live.

Agent onboarding (/agent-setup, /get-started/mcp-servers, /get-started/agent-skills)

  • Grok Build and Pi rows. A working way to list skills agent ids (npx skills add --help doesn't list them), a universal / copy-the-skills fallback, project-scope and Windows cmd quoting notes.
  • Codex: the plugin installs skills and MCP (skip step 1, no Node needed), the features.plugins / "plugin not found" fix, and a warning that codex mcp add waits for browser approval.
  • Hermes, Grok Build and opencode commands; the opencode mcp + type: "remote" shape.
  • "If OAuth sign-in fails" section: which callbacks work, and the API-key header path for interactive users too.
  • mcp.getrunpod.io described as the old name for the same server; register only one.
  • Installer --client / --list, its real client list (adds opencode and Pi), Node 20.12 minimum.
  • agent-skills Quick start no longer installs the CLI and asks for a key up front; it points agents to agents.runpod.io. Adds the runpod-templates and runpod-build-template skills.

API reference (vendored api-reference-v2/openapi.json, same text as runpod/rphttp2#445)

  • cost is the hourly rate even when a Pod is stopped; ssh.direct can linger; CPU Pods accept a global volume; real rate-limit example, per-user scope, 429 is temporary.

Pods and storage

  • Pod migration copies the volume disk, not network or global volumes (migrationHelpers.ts). Zero-GPU start: CPU Only in the console, podResumeZeroGpu in GraphQL. zero-gpus lists migration as an option.
  • New "Restart a Pod" section (console, runpodctl pod restart, REST v2 restart action). podTerminate on the GraphQL Pods page.
  • Network volume over-1 TB rate; global volumes on CPU Pods (API only); ComfyUI "Unsupported volume type" warning; S3 API keys tab needs the team Admin role.
  • Get started: Community vs Secure Cloud is the Cloud type filter.

Serverless and Public Endpoints

  • PORT_HEALTH defaults to 80, not PORT (portConfigHelpers.ts).
  • vLLM worker v2.30.1 ships vLLM v0.32.0; documents flag-named env vars and VLLM_EXTRA_ARGS.
  • 26 proxy-backed Public Endpoint pages now show output.result (the proxy handler always returns {result, cost}), the same fix #97eb5b77 made for Seedance. 7 pages whose endpoint IDs don't map cleanly to a proxy handler are untouched.
  • wan-2.2 i2v: num_inference_steps is required. wan-2.5: audio input, resolution (480p/720p/1080p), native audio.
  • GitHub integration: .runpod/ is only needed for the Hub. Instant Clusters: RDMA section. Concepts: Runpod SDK entry and Flash legacy note.

Not changed (unverified)

wan-2.6-t2v native audio, load-balancing endpoint settings, Hugging Face cache sharing, Serverless start-command override.

Test plan

  • mint broken-links: no broken links.
  • vale --minAlertLevel=error on changed pages: no new errors (two old em dashes removed).
  • openapi.json parses.
  • Spot-check /agent-setup and /get-started/mcp-servers in the preview.

agent-setup: Grok and Pi rows, a way to list skills agent ids, a fallback
for unlisted agents, project-scope and Windows notes, Codex plugin and
OAuth-wait notes, Hermes, Grok and opencode commands, an API-key path for
clients that can't do OAuth, and the mcp.getrunpod.io alias.

mcp-servers: callback limits, installer --client/--list, Cursor and
opencode hosted examples, JSON headers example.

agent-skills: defer the CLI and key like agent-setup, use --client, add
missing skills.

Add podTerminate to the GraphQL Pods page, a restart section to Manage
Pods, the over-1 TB network volume rate, an SDK entry and Flash legacy
note in Concepts, the cloud type filter in Get started, the ComfyUI
global volume limitation, and a note that .runpod is only for the Hub.

Checked against rphttp2, RunPod, main-ui, public-ep, worker-vllm and
host sources:
- v2 spec: cost is the hourly rate (not zeroed when stopped), ssh.direct
can linger, CPU pods take a global volume, real rate-limit example and
  429 behavior.
- Migration copies the volume disk, not network or global volumes;
CPU Only start in the console and podResumeZeroGpu in GraphQL.
- PORT_HEALTH defaults to 80, not PORT.
- vLLM worker version and VLLM_EXTRA_ARGS.
- Proxy Public Endpoints return output.result (as fixed for Seedance);
  wan-2.2 needs num_inference_steps; wan-2.5 audio and resolution.
- S3 API keys tab needs the team Admin role; Instant Cluster RDMA.
