Projects currently pick up missing editor and preview settings as their components mount. Older configuration fixes also live in the project-loading code, so the data available before rendering depends on how a project was opened.
This moves project, editor, and preview defaults into shared creation functions and uses
normalizeProject()when restoring tabs, opening saved projects, applying templates, duplicating projects, and importing configuration files. Components receive initialized data, while saved values and the existing file format are preserved.Invalid imports now show an error before creating a tab. Older projects also receive missing editor fields and split sizes before their editors render.
Validation: the full test suite and focused regression checks pass. The production build passes, and an older two-editor project restores and renders correctly in the browser with no console errors.
