Security bundle for tests/python/poetry.lock (Poetry). Recreated on a human-authored branch because Dependabot #46 (same bump) is red on every check.

Closes

Alert Package Advisory Fix
#53 urllib3 GHSA-gh4c-6fx4-qh6g / CVE-2026-97688 2.7.0 → 2.8.0
#54 urllib3 GHSA-8988-9cw3-xx77 / CVE-2026-97687 same
#55 urllib3 GHSA-vxq7-64xx-v4gw / CVE-2026-97689 same

Transitive via the path dependency vectorize-client (urllib3 >= 1.25.3, < 3.0.0), so no constraint edit: scoped poetry update --lock urllib3 run with Poetry 2.4.1, the version that wrote this lock (avoids format churn).

Lock diff = 4 lines: urllib3 version + its two file hashes, and one unrelated-but-unavoidable line: the path dependency vectorize-client's recorded version 0.0.10 → 0.4.0. That matches src/python/pyproject.toml (version = "0.4.0"); a no-op poetry lock on pristine main produces exactly the same line, i.e. the committed lock was stale on that field.

Verification (mirrors ci.yml "Tests (Python)", differential vs pristine origin/main, Python 3.11, Poetry 1.8.3 as in CI)

  • poetry install — exit 0 both; urllib3.__version__ 2.8.0 vs 2.7.0.
  • poetry run pytest — exit 1 on both, identical: 4 errors, all ValueError: Please set VECTORIZE... (live-API suite needs credentials).
  • Smoke: vectorize_client.ApiClient(...) constructs its urllib3 PoolManager on 2.8.0.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Scoped `poetry update --lock urllib3` with Poetry 2.4.1 (the version that wrote
the lock). The relock also refreshes the path dependency vectorize-client's
recorded version 0.0.10 -> 0.4.0 (matches src/python/pyproject.toml; a no-op
`poetry lock` produces the same line).
